BAHS Wrestling

Weather Concerns

Tuesday evening after school activities cancelled. If schools are open on Wednesday, 2/3, then we will host Harford Tech.  JV 4pm and Varsity 6pm (6:30 wrestling) Parent and Senior night is still on as planned, wrestlers will get an additional pound (105 = 106).

If schools are closed on Wednesday, 2/3, then we will host Harford Tech on Thursday, 2/4, 4 and 6pm starts with parents and senior night activities as well.  If this is the case wrestlers will recieve an additional pound (105 = 107).

BOBCATS WIN TRI MEET

Your Bobcats topped North Carroll (41-25) and host Patterson Mill (59-12) Thursday night, securing the Chesapeake Division Title in the UCBAC Conference.  Two matches left on the regular season, Harford Tech at Bel Air on Wednesday evening and Perry Hall at Bel Air on Saturday afternoon.  This Saturday, January 30th, the Bobcats host the Bel Air JV Duals.

CATS BACK ON TRACK

Your Bobcats got back on track Wednesday evening at Elkton, defeating both Bo Manor (46-33) and Elkton (48-25).  Justin Cole, Jeff Taylor, Justin Lorber, Tom Kuegler, Mike Marianetti and Steve Cross all went 2-0.  Cheer us on as we face Glenelg Friday night at Bel Air.

CATS FALL TO GLENELG

The wrestling Bobcats gave it all Friday evening, but fell to visiting Glenelg (Howard County) 41-24.  The JV Cats lost a tight one, 38-36, to open the evening up.  Much improvement since Decembers match up where our JV only scored 12 points against the same team.

We square off at Patterson Mill in Tri-meet with the host and North Carroll on Thursday evening.  Saturday we host the JV Dual meet tourney then we enter the last week of the regular season, Senior Night Wednesday Feb 3rd, against rival Harford Tech and Saturday Feb 6th our varsity host Perry Hall and the JV UCBAC tournament will be held at Harford Technical High School.

CATS BEAT BY SEAHAWKS

The Bobcats wrestled down to the last seconds of the last match where nobody was sitting in their seats, only to go down to Anne Arundel Counties top team the South River Seahawks, 35-32.  Justin Cole continued his dominance on the mat by pinning the big South River heavy weight, as did 103 pounder Jeff Taylor and 171 pounder Tom Kuegler.

Our JV gets back in action on Tuesday at John Carroll for the rescheduled JV Quad meet with JC, Patterson Mill and North Harford.  Wednesday night we travel to Elkton to face Bo Manor and host Elkton in a tri meet.  We finish the week hosting the #1 1A/2A team in the state, Glenelg on Friday night.  Last years dual meet went down to the last match which ended in overtime on a suspect call, in favor of Glenelg, this year we hope to come out on top.
