State Champion Brent Lorin!!!

Freshman 106 pounder Brent Lorin completed his undefeated season Saturday Night in the finals of the 2016 MPSSAA Wrestling Tournament.  The last match of the tournament between Christian Balmoris (Junior from Springbrook) and Bel Airs Brent Lorin.  Brent  was taken down in the firrst period and answered with a reversal to tie it at 2.  In the 2nd period Balmoris choose neutral but neither wrestler scored in the period.

Bobcats Finish 3rd in Regional Tournament

Cats earn 3rd UCBAC Tourney Title in a row

On Saturday February 20, 2016 the Wrestling Bobcats brought home their 6th UCBAC Conference Tourney Title in 9 years, making it 3 in a row this year.  4 Champions and 6 in the finals. 11 Wrestlers have qualified for next weeks Regional Tournamnet.

Senior Night Victory

The Bel Air Bobcats defeated the Bo Manor Eagles tonight with a final score of 75-3. This was also a night to celebrate the seniors graduating this year. Congrats everyone on a great win!

North Carroll and Perry Hall Trimeet

The Bobcats traveled to North Carroll yesterday for a trimeet with North Carroll and Perry Hall. The Cats defeated Perry Hall 61-14 and ended the night by beating North Carroll 53-18. Keep up the good work Bobcats!

Dual with the Huskies

The Bobcats defeated the Patterson Mill Huskies in a dual tonight 56-15. Come out to support the cats at their trimeet on the 19th with North Carroll and Perry Hall.

3rd Place at the Iron Horse Duals

Day 2 of the Iron Horse Duals proved to be challenging to our young wrestliers.  We got off to a great start defeating Liberty and host C. Milton Wright.   Winning our pool with a 5-0 record whicb earned us a spot in the Championshi round.  The first match was against defending 1A/2A State Champion South Carroll, who handed the 21-0 Bobcats our firt loss of the season, 55-18.  The final match was against Leonardtown who beat South Carroll on Friday.  The Bobcats wrestled hard but ultimately came up short losing 39-36.

Iron Horse Duals Part 1

The Bobcats beat Stephen Decatur last night in the Iron Horse Duals 37-32. They also defeated John Carroll 34-31 and Boys Latin 66-7. Good job Cats! Keep up the hard work today at the rest of the tournament.
