Your Bobcats traveled to conference rival Rising Sun and battled hard, but fell short at the end, losing 38-33.. Friday and Saturday you can find us at CMW as we wrestle in the Iron Horse Duals.

Christmas Practice

The Bobcats will have an open mat on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6:00pm to 7:3opm at Charm City Run building. Practice at the high school will be on Thursday 12/29/2011 at 10am, we will need to roll up the mats at the completion of this practice.  If you are in town you are expected to make the practice and we suggest you attend the open mats and stay active.

JV goes 8-1 at Meade Duals and Varsity is 6th at Lackey

The JV Bobcats dominated their competition at the Meade Duals winning all but 1 match over the weekend. 

The Varsity had a couple long days at Indian Head, MD competing with teams from as far as Virginia Beach.  Jeff Taylor (132), John Cross (152) and William Holder-Moore (170) finished in 2nd and Tyler Touhy (285) took 5th.  We are back in action on Tuesday night at home versus North Harford and Harford Tech, 4pm.

Cats Top Host Indians 49-23

With some new faces in the varsity lineup, the Bobcats took the victory from host North East, Cecil County on Wednesday evening, 49-23.  Welcome to varisty Paul Vecchioni (170), David Reagan (106), Brian Doheny (145) and Ryan Gibson (160)

Bobcats Earn 2nd Place at Iron Eagle Duals, place 11 at Milford Mill

The Bobcat wrestlers went 5-2 on their way to a 2nd place finish at Aberdeen High Schools Iron Eagle Duals, losing to Springbrook in the finals.  The Bobcats were lead by Jeff Taylor (6-1), William Holder-Moore (7-0) and John Cross (7-0) and followed by  Freshman Brady Stafford and Cameron Watts as they proved they could make the leap from Rec to Varsity utilizing their high energy and high flying moves.  A great tournament for the young Bobcats.

2 Wins and 1 Loss at Aberdeen Duals

On the first night of competition, your bobcats lost a close match to North Hagerstown (33-40) then rebounded by defeating both Aberdeen (72-6) and Havre De Grace (65-18).  Saturdays action begins at 10 am, tthe JV will be travelling to Milford Mill.

Jeff Taylor pins Zach Cullison

Your Bobcats defeated host Fallston 43-26 in the season opener.  The win was highlighted by the Jeff Taylor overtime pin against defending State Champion Zach Cullison, (128lb).
