Cats Top Tigers in Early Match

On a Monday afternoon, 3:00 to be exact, match, the Bobcats hosted the Tigers of Rising Sun.  Your Bobcats came out on top with a 58-15 win.  Our next action is Wednesday Night, 5:30, at River HIll High School for the Regional Dual Meet Tournament.  Bel Air is the #2 team and faces #3 Old Mill, while host River Hill #1 faces Glenelg #4.  Lots of great wrestling at this event, the winners of the first match wrestle to determine the Regional Champ.  The Regional Champ competes on Saturday in the same fomat versus the other 3 regional champs.

@ Atholoton High on Friday 2/7

vs Rising Sun on Monday 2/10 3pm BAHS

We are currently 2nd in Regional Duals, Atholton will be the last match that counts towards that tournament.  River Hill is 10-0 with 2 matches on Saturday.  We are 10-0 with the match vs Atholt on on Friday.  As of right now, we will be competing for the Regional Dual Crown on Wednesday at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Howard County.  1 - River Hill , 2- Bel Air, 3- Resevior, 4- Old Mill.  These can still change but if we win we are in, Glenelg is at 5th with 2 losses.

Cats 2nd at Battle By The Bay - Cross earns OW award

The Bobcats were 2nd out of 13 teams in this years Battle By the Bay, falling behind Good Counsel.  David Reagan (106) and John Cross (152) were Champions while John was voted the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament by the coaches.  Gavin Rupprecht, Grant Fleming,Cyler Crawford and Dakota Crawford were finalist.  All of the team performed well.

Cross earns 100th win, Cats take down Falcons

Senior Captain John Cross (152 lbs) won his 100th varsity match with a 2nd period fall.  At Severna Park High School the JV Cats posted a strong 58-12 victory and our Varsity won their 13th dual meet 61-9.

Tri Meet at Bel Air

North Harford and Perryville came into Bel Air High for our first tri-meet of the season.  The Cats came out on top beating Perryville 66-10 and North Harford 64-6.

Cats Earn 4th at Iron Horse Duals

After Friday night was cancelled due to inclement weather, the dual meet tourney was held on Saturday only.  5 rounds of wrestling and the Cats finished 3-2 and in 4th place out of the 12 team field.  Our wins were over Liberty 67-7, Hereford 37-27, CMW 52-18 while we came up short against John Carroll 53-12 and Georgetown Prep 41-27 (conso final).

Your Bobcats toppled the host Aberdeen Eagles 63-6. 

Cats Top Cougars 54-18

Your Bobcats win their first home match of the season against last season UCBAC Tournament Champions, 54-18.  JV heads to Dulaney on Saturday morning and Varsity wrestles at Aberdeen next Wednesday.  Coach Reddish was presented with a 300 Wins Plaque for the Gymansium Wall, Thanks to all who attended and assisted iwth the celebration.
